Hey! This is new!

This is where we confer honor on those who have earned the title of Prophet. Or, where we mock them. One or the other.

Hey, I lost a lot, too, I'm learning to cope.
True terror lies in the futility of human existence.

Malcolm Reynolds is my co-pilot.

"The only freedom deserving the name, is that of pursuing our own good in our own way, so long as we do not attempt to deprive others of theirs, or impede their efforts to obtain it. Each is the proper guardian of his own health, whether bodily, or mental and spiritual. Mankind are greater gainers by suffering each other to live as seems good to themselves, than by compelling each to live as seems good to the rest." - John Stuart Mill

In all fairness, you can pretty much do whatever you want with this place, including assigning ranks at random, or to yourself, regardless of post count.

The thin line between genius and insanity is less of a border than a union.

But I can't. I lost more than half my posts. I went from 4200 to 1660. And none of them were in games or Last Post contests.

Yes, but generally speaking, I don't. Which is why I have the power in the first place.

Actually, it's the second time it's happened to me. The first time was when the Toadfish pulled out nearly 2 years ago. If my posts from that section of the forum were included along with those just lost, I'd be way over the 5,000 mark.

Such is life in the fast lane.

I voted for the 3.14.... but more and more I like the Purveyor of Triviality one.
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.
