Look it's obvious by now that I don't know how to post an inage - please help. Oh and also how do I get an avitar up ?

It's a mystery to me. Seriously. I don't know how to put an image in a post - try Imagemaker.com - I think. In the member profile, at the bottom, it tells you how to do your avatar - which has to be in one of three formats. If yours is in the wrong one it will give you a message telling the three acceptable ones. Is that mysterious enough? It is to me, seriously.

You need the web address of an image in order to post it.
For example...
http://www.venganza.org/forum/templates ... _phpBB.gif
is the image location of the following image:
Just paste the url between the two image codes [img]right%20here[/img]

I'm still living in ignorance here in post spagetti land. Do I have to set up a web site then post any images to it before posting them onto my posts. That would be just too many posts for me. Particularly here in post cannaloni land where pasta is fifty million dollary a barrel.

Just use a free image hosting site. If you are talking about the signature image, you can set that up in your profile if you have the web address of the image.

It was pretty easy. Imageshack is free.
To show the photo in a PM or in a thread you need to host it on a website. Upload it to Imageshack and copy the url. Place the url within the "Img" quotes.
