I see.

It doesn't matter, because I absolutely hated Marik. He did all his dirty work through his "mind slaves". The Spirit of The Ring did it himself.

Of course, seeing as manipulation is not nearly as cool as dueling every chav in sight.

Yami Bakura was good, but he couldn't hold a candle to Malik.

Yeah, which is why it took until the very end to defeat Yami Bakura, whereas Marik was defeated and turned back to good about four seasons into the show.

Clearly Yami Bakura was the more evil villian. Marik was good, he just lost his mind temporarily. Yami Bakura was a spirit of pure malice.

And which is why Malik was cooler than Bakura.

He was a normal person, unlike Yami Bakura who was pure evil.

But Marik had no motivation! He just wanted to fuck around and cause trouble!

Yami Bakura was trying to destroy the world.

The question in this thread isn't who was cooler, it's who was a better villian. In terms of overall villiany, Yami Bakura kicked ASS.

He was the hidden villian for the whole show, and no one even noticed. Mari was evil for one season. One season! Then he joined Yugi's group of fuckwits.

Y. Bakura was cooler than Marik, in any case. He could kick Marik's ass any day of the week.

*Shakes head*

Of all the cool anime you could talk about out there, you had to choose Yu-Gi-Oh.

What's next? Beyblades?

I expect next Zanny and Azn will discuss the bad guys from Teletubbies?

Children, meet Lex Luthor. The guy all of your favorite villains want to be when they grow up. This guy was diabolical before being diabolical was cool. Know your history.
