We also have a new forum in the Serious section, Demographics and Hot Topics. This section is for polls started by STAFFERS ONLY to get an idea of what and who our community is composed of. We'll be doubling up those polls to include discussions on some of the more polarizing topics that keep coming up, in the hopes of keeping that from clogging the forum.

Should not the forum section just be called Demographics?
There aren't any "hot topics" in the section, as I understand the term. Also, wouldn't having a section for"hot topics" imply first establishing a topic in an existing section and then moving it after it attained the status of "hot", so to speak?

It's loaded with hot topics. Please go back and read where we've defined what a hot topic is: discussions on some of the more polarizing topics that keep coming up,.
That would include Abortion, gun control, health care, etc.
