At the gym today they were playing Mad Season's River of Deceit.

Still a badass song.
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

Ruslana

Postby Andrey Kurtenkov on Tue Feb 26, 2008 11:23 am

The last saturday I was at concert of the Ukrainian singer Ruslana – the winner of Eurovision Song Contest 2004 – she has songs from highly varied music styles:

En mateno de hela ero, per la forĉo de espero, venas viglaj pastafaroj, vere fluganta gefratoj.
Ah, vi flugu, Nia Monstro! Vin observas milionoj serĉiantaj vermiĉeloj, per espero kaj per amo.
Kaj la bona pastafaro post la malfermita pordo, trovos la eternan vivon en pastafara paradizo!

Rule the World by Take That.

The only mainstream song I can stomach.

I don't like much music.
There are very few songs I like. I don't mind Daft Punk's Harder Better Faster Stronger. (Not the Kanye West remix! That's awful.)
I only like the song because I've seen a video where a person writes the words on her hands and moves her hands to the lyrics. It's pretty awesome. I tried to do it, and could only do most of the slow bits.
A flap of the wings yesterday means big changes tomorrow.
Let's work together to keep the present inevitable.

So yeah, I went and got a blog.

Hey, I love music! In fact, the trashier, dirtier, and simpler, the better. I run a podcast "network" of primitive rock'n'roll shows (including garage rock, rockabilly, old-school punk, greasy R&B, surf, etc.) called the GaragePunk Podcast, which sprang from an old garage-rock radio show I used to host locally on KDHX (50,000-watt community radio station in St. Louis) for over 10 years. My podcast is called SAVAGE KICK and I post a new episode every three weeks or so. Please check it out! You can find it all here: www.garagepunk.com

RSS feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/GaragePunkPodcasts

By the way, the next episode of my show will post tomorrow [March 28], and I mention converting to Pastafarianism on it! With over a thousand subscribers and more than 3,000 downloads of every episode, I'm hoping to attract at least a few converts.

Ah, Soundgarden. The only band, of which I'm aware anyway, who have released a song to the radio which features a drag-quintuplet ("Pretty Noose", from the same album).

Die Toten Hosen literally means The Dead Trousers.

It can be translated as : the ones who are low on jois-de-vivre

Currently listening to Rammstein - Freuer Frei, though I wish I was listening to Rage Against the Machine.
