agree about "The Big L" ^ - the Coen brothers are great

"Oh Brother" also very funny and "Raising Arizona"

Also, has anyone here seen the original "Reefer Madness" propaganda film? It's actually pretty chuckle-tastic.

I really think it's silly to pretend that the Monty Python movies don't win this competition though. Monty Python is the Michael Jordan of comedy.

Ah, Reefer Madness, an excellent example of how spectacularly hysterical, ill-informed propaganda backfires when unleashed upon a non-credulous public. Too bad the morality-mongers never learn.

Although some of my friends did have "maniacal laughter".

If I had to choose from recent movies, I would say Superbad, Juno, and Knocked Up. However, I did just watch Scream today, and that was pretty funny too. I cannot think of the others...

The original Pink Panther and its sequels. Pure comedy slapstick at its best.

New one wasn't too bad.

I just saw Kung Fu Hustle for the first time. I laughed my ass off.
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.
