I saw Stevie just a few months before his death. He was great, but if you listen to Albert King you'll hear where Stevie was coming from.

Depends on the style. For overall playing & composing Frank Zappa gets my vote.

I'm still pissed at SRV for falling out of the sky.
I did once have a thing about Leo Kottke...but that was the seventies, of which I remember...very little...
