Pirate Attire at School (story)

On the day before the last day of school, the principle announced that the last day would be "wear whatever you want" day.

So.

I went to wal-mart, spencers, and hot topic, and bought a whole pirate outfit.

On the last day I brought the gospel with me. (thats all i brought) read most of it to people who were interested, wore my fsm necklace, and even used black tape to cover some of my teeth.

And converted about 20 people! Most of them at lunch.(2 in my classical literature class, while studying the jesus bible) I gave them all "evolution jesus fish" (the jesus fish with feet and the word "evolution" in the middle) vinyl stickers, for their cars and such.

The principle had a talk with me after school as to why i dressed up as a pirate.
I told her. She gave me a weird look. Basically said "ok..." and said that i caused a "ruckus"

But I'm doing it again next year!

That was brilliant! I'm glad your spreading the word, I try and explain it to people at work but they never seem to listen. I wish we could have a 'non-uniform' day so I can wear my pirate gear!! :fsm_yarr:

On talk like a pirate day I dressed up as a pirate and went around my university preaching his noodly goodness and handing out brochures. It was a lot of fun and my microbiology professor let me preach at the beginning of class about creation and then asked to borrow my copy of the Gospel.
No one even complained about the sword! (yes I wore a sword all day but it was merely a fencing saber, not a real pirate blade).

Many were touched by His Noodly Appendage that day.

Alright... ! Same here... can't wait until tomorrow! It's Halloween, the perfect excuse for pirate regalia. And after that, pirate gear for the rest of the year! Everywhere I go! (My "costume" is home-made... It looks pretty good, even the newspaper hat :fsm_rock: )

I enjoy dressing as a pirate for school quite a lot. This year alone I have gone 3 times, and there are more to come next semester.

Doesn't Barnes and Nobles have like computers strategically placed throughout the store so you can find what you are looking for?
