Recommend the book "Attack of the unsinkable rubber ducks" by Christopher Brookmyre (brookmyre.co.uk) Crime Fiction.
ID tries to get into Scottish schools in a very round about way
Well worth a read.

I haven't read it, but I will. Brookmyre walks on water, even in stillettos.
