Hey!
At my house, we are trying to watch our calories, so we have salads for our main evening meal several times each week.
Getting kids to enjoy a salad can be a challenge, but the wench and I have discovered the secret of "crunchy salad."
We take pre-bagged cole-slaw makings, and combine them with a few nuts, raisins, maybe a strip of some animal flesh, and a generous portion of uncooked (crunchy) Ramen noodles, which we crush and combine with the other ingredients.
When this is tossed together with a salad dressing, even the kids like it. Perhaps best of all, it's something that the kids can make for themselves, and we allow all the second helpings they want.
So the "crunchy salad" has been a great discovery for the wench and I.
"Crunchy sex," however, did not work out so well.
Trust me on this.
