They're dirt cheap in England but here they're a rip-off..

Deep fried battered mars bars are pretty good, but you'd only wanna eat em once a year to prevent heart failure..Really greasy and fatty and gross..

When my bf went to australia he said there was a place that would deep-fry anything for you..anything...
He asked them to deep fry a big mac but they said there's not much point cuz there'd be nothing left of it..lol..

English muffins are different. According to Wikipedia, "[crumpets] differ from the English Muffin, which is cooked on both sides, in that the dough is usually more moist to start with, so that a muffin ring may be required to hold the batter's shape." and also: "The crumpet should not be confused with the sweeter English muffin."

Also they appear to be eaten differently, apparently people just slap some butter on a crumpet and eat it, we eat english muffins with jelly or jam mostly, but also we make eggs benedict, but the best thing to do is melt cheese over them.

People put jam on crumpets too..and melt cheese over them..thats very common..My dad loves cheese on them
I've never seen or eaten an english muffin, but I just go by what the other half told me about them..He's from the states and he says they're pretty much the same thing except you cut english muffins in half and toast them..or something..i think..he's had crumpets here too and he reckons they're almost the same except they look a little different..
But I dunno, I'm jus goin by what I'm told..

Crumpets have bigger bubbles in, that rise to the top during cooking so they're all holey on top, and english muffins are a bit like bread with smaller bubbles, cut in half and toast, nums they are sweeter yes, they have slightly different mixtures and cooking times... can't be bothered to look it up though, I just buy them and eat them
