Hi,

I am confused about ramen, is it some special type of noodle i need to buy, or is it a way of cooking ordinary noodles, and if so, how do i do it?

Mr. Noodle is Ramen. That's pretty much it.

Ramen comes in special little packages with a shiney pouch of flavoring. the noodles are boiled untill you find them to be just right. Then the shiney puch I spoke of earlier is opened and poured into the boiled noodles (with some of the water drained of course). This is then stirred until the flavoring is no longer in the powder form. From the pot you pour however much you want into a bowl and you begin to eat!

The kids at school are always eating raw Mr. Noodle, and it makes me sick.

They pour the little packets out all over it, and inhale the pure MSg.

it is truly sickening.

the FSM frowns on those who eat raw noodles.

Actually, Zankou, if the MSG is in there while dry, won't it stick around when cooked? So you get the cancers anyway. Whether it is stomach or lung cancer is a different matter

You get cancer from talking. You get cancer from sitting on your ass all day, fearing cancer from standing up, breathing, looking, going outside, eating, drinking, talking.

You get the idea.

Actually you do. It's called metastasis. You are way more likely to get cancer when you've got cancer.

As a smoker, I laugh (cough) at people who are terrified of everything in the world that is carcinogenic. I'm in a race to see if I can drink myself to death before I smoke myself to death with the added random factor of extreme sports and excessive chinese food. If you want to extend your life as long as possible then great but don't waste those extra years living in fear.
