FSM and pizza--question

ok so i agree that italy is the promise land, im new here and so italy is also the home of pizza--what do pastafarians think of pizza? do they have any signifigance in our history?

pizza is bascially the same as pasta.

its got:

carbs/grain/wheat/bready stuff
sauce
meat
cheese

no big difference really. and I'm pretty sure pizza is actually from new york orignally, not italy. but I'm not sure.

Hey Qwerty,

Pizza originated in Italy , however, many forms of it exsisted in may other parts of the world indepedently at many different points in history.

Consider what the pizza is, in it's basic form ,A bready pancake with stuff on it.

Remember that tomatoes were indigious to the Americas and brought to Europe along with spuds an' such. So the original sauce if any would have been different.

Today the general consensus points to a place in NY.NY. (Bronx or Brooklyn) of an Italian American who created the version the world over knows and loves.( Try snopes .com for clarification, i believe, but unsure they have a post there).

There's a recipe on www.foodnetwork.com search for pasta pizza.
It uses Capellini (not to be confused with this sites Moderator) for the crust.

there is a pizza shop under my house, in Via Nino Bixio 71: Pizza dell'Arte
They have any kind :pizza & potatoes,pizza & chillies and so on
I never never seen pizza & noodles.

It's the best thing ever ! A bambino sized pizza with spaghetti onthe side, I mix both with my fork and then eat the pizza.... with spaghetti sauce !
