I guess if there's people interested in having one of these, I could digitize the pattern and post it. I'm also willing to put together a couple extra rugs for the hook rug illiterate.

A few people have let me know that they would like one of these rugs so I've decided to sell a few on ebay (since I have no idea what they should be worth). Depending on how well the auction goes I will be making 10 rugs of this design in total. If you are interested in getting one please check this listing.

I'll be posting a new rug every couple of weeks depending on demand.

Had I my own income I would most definitely buy that.

FSM on eBay

Postby NeferKa on Thu May 31, 2007 6:28 pm

Salsbury, did your rug sell on eBay? I'm trying my luck now with one of my original prints of the FSM on eBaynow. (I actually sold one at my art show last fall, which was nice. I then took a picture of the guy who bought it with the print under my FSM sculpture with his phone.)

I'm a little disappointed that there is no video. Do you still think you could make one?

If you want to make a hook rug, you'll just need a canvas, yarn and a latch-hook tool.
Here (link) is an instruction on latch-hooking.
And here's another (link).

I'm working on a hook rug right now and actually it's quite easy but it takes a long time and patience.
So, good luck.
