Well I ask you...where did this quote come from then?

Believe me, my young friend, there is NOTHING--absolutely nothing--half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats."
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

Iki from The 51st State.

"I'm surrounded by idiots." - Scar from The Lion King.

Call me a kid, but Scar has got to be one of my favourite movie villians. :)

Shadow

Postby black bart » Wed Sep 06, 2006 11:49 am

Escargot seems to have forgotten to add a quote so here's another:

A shadow seemed to pass over the high sun,
and the porch for a moment grew dark.
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

What Do you mean part it is the whole "one ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, one ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them" and im pretty sure that is ALL that is on the ring.

Of course.
He was the one who made items of clothing and various other things like lampshades using people's ears, skin and other body parts, even though it was never actually proved that he killed more than 2 people.

I thought he was as famous as Ted Bundy or Charles Manson.

Sounds familiar. I am only used to the cottage industry the SS made with skinning their victims and using the skin (especially, if there were interesting tattos on it)for lampshades etc.
They even learned how to produce shrunken heads (sadly, that is not a joke).

According to the ever-helpful wikipedia, he made bedposts from human heads, lampshades and upholster chair seats from skin, soup bowls from skullcaps, a face mask made out of real facial skin found in a paper bag, a necklace of human lips, a waistcoat from a vagina and breasts and other things, including a belt made of nipples and his most infamous, an entire wardrobe fabricated of human skin consisting of leggings, a gutted torso (including breasts) and an array of tanned, dead-skin masks that looked leathery and almost mummified.
Apparently, Gein dug up the bodies of recently buried women who resembled his mother and used their body parts for his creations.
