Getting ready for coffee and apple-banana* bread.
*I've made no secret of my dislike of bananas, but cooked bananas don't taste like... banana, at least not the part of "banana taste" that turns my stomach. I actually find banana bread (or apple-banana bread in this case) quite yummy.

RAmen to that! Tomatoes, too, and cheese, athough I've come around on those two items, slowly.
Someone brought donuts to work... that's up next.

A soup sandwich... Always great the day after you cook the soup. Usually only works with a thick beany vegetable soup, unless you really really really like soggy bread.

Speaking of thick soups, I might grab a bowl of the congee that just finished cooking here.

Tricolore salad w/blackberry vinaigrette, swordfish w/onion marmalade, smashed new potatoes. I also made a big pan of polenta, but I'm freezing that for future meals.

Yum! Don't tempt me to buy more vinegar... I already have too many kinds (and no fruit varieties at the moment).
Dinner was opo squash, onions, garlic, kohlrabi, bean curd stick and tomatoes all done up in a kochujang sauce (hot pepper paste) over rice.
Bean curd stick is one of my new favorite not meat thingies...
