At Pun With The Creator

I am a recent convert.

In order to praise and manifest our love for our Creator (pici be upon Him), I have followed, hitherto unguided, two methods. One is personal and private, the second public and cerimonial.

I wish to discuss this second mode of praise. I commend to you, my fellow Pastafarians, the Pun.

Punning is the ultimate praise for our Creator, as it uses all our FSM-given faculties. The power of speech, the ability to recognise that which is other than ourselves, the imagination to pretend that things are otherwise and the joyous gift of laughter (sometimes).

Metaphysically, it symbolically represents the rhyzomic link that the Divine Noodle intends between diverse things, that the complex leads back to the simple, just as the pasta combines with the pasta sauce to become One Complete Balanced Meal.

I recommend to you all, my Brothers and Sisters in Tagliatelle, that your Gatherings be punctuated with Punning, Beer and Pasta, that Our Pastamaker may deliver you unto Heaven.

Please contribute below with your own sacred puns, for it is good to share.

ho boy... wait till swato gets a hold of this.

I can come up with some puns in certain circumstances, but nothing much good on the spot.

Um... bad puns and innuendo on your previous statement. Not the type of holy puns intended in the original post.

Don't worry... boghog's still wondering Why The Hedgehog Cannot Be Buttered At All. :mrgreen:

I'd weigh in on the puns, but mine always end up as more of dajares.
It all kind of went downhill from there.

ah.... I just crack myself up sometimes...

okay... that was just going too far.

Al Gore invented bad albeit clever puns.
