T minus 3 hours!

We're bringing corn on the cob and chocolate cake.

Also, my leopard hooded robe, in case we get in the mood for photos!

Please forgive my double-post, but I had to tell you what a nice time we had yesterday hanging out with Qwerty and his cool family (especially Leo, who is cuteness incarnate!), Jawo, Qwerty's civics teacher, Mr. Drake and the Drakelette.

We had BBQ and cake, beer and root beer and lots and lots of talking and laughing. Our FSM-mobile didn't pull away until about a quarter 'til nine.

Many thanks to the Qwerty family!

not sure how they'll take being called 'the Qwerty family' but I'll tell them you enjoyed it.

hmmm... might be a good name for a pastafarian sitcom.

"Those Quirky Qwerty's"

He did not, yet. I think the respectful thing to do would be to wait for his permission. I guess he's on his Italian adventure right now.

I'd prefer that you only post our photos in the members-only sections of the forum at this time.

Shall we begin planning another event? or wait for Jawo (and Aquazoo) to return?

Hmmm... we did brainstorm about making a field trip to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie...

Weekends are better for me. Bargain matinees even better. Does it open next week?

no, two or three I think. we've still got 8-9 days left in this month, then it opens on the 7th.

Pirates of the Caribbean is an awesome movie, made better since its a Pirate move (arrrgggh)! Good amount of slapstick humor...kept clean since it is Disney  It might be 3:30 am but the movie was most certainly worth staying up this late!

Wouldn't mind seeing it again in a few days....

Welcome back, Jawo! How was Italy?

Are you talking about the new one? The Washington Post panned it bad! I'm hoping they were just too snotty about it.

Drake, the Washington Post said that Lord Of The Rings was "too epic".

don't trust the Post's movie reviewer. he hates everyone.

sprechen of which, any date/time that's good for all of us for the movie? I'll check, but as far as I know, I'm free unless I'm out of town. which isn't 'till august.
