Been a devotee for several months, but only just found this forum. I'm also in Melbourne and would be very interested in a noodle gathering. Hey, is the Nudel Bar still in the city?

Distant appendages

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum sandypossum - unfortunately our ship is moored in Brisbane at present so no chance of a boarding party in Melbourne - any other members of the Bris-vegas congregation out there...?

Aarrrrrggh! Aren't there any other Melbournians on deck? We need to set up a chapel to the FSM down here too. Much more appropriate weather for noodles, too.

You know it makes census

Postby Aus Dente » Fri Jul 28, 2006 12:47 am

Hi Guys

Let's get on the census: Pastafarianism is much more worthy than Jedi Knighthood for official recognition. If Ernie Dingo is right then if enough of us record ourselves as Pastafarian on the census then we might get our own school, or whatever civic building we might need - say new docks for our pirate ships, taverns for rowdy carousing and bottle of rum consumption, planks for walking or even new sailing ships from the defence budget for roving the Spanish Main, capturing helpless merchant ships and burying / excavating treasure.

8th August - get your water to a rolling boil and prepare to parmesan

YAARRRR!

I takes you up on that dare and I shall be running with it...

I be in melbourne, I be fond of me noodles, and I be a Pastafarian on my census form. (My flatmates looked at me strangly and decided I needed to have a seperate form, as they didnt want to be associated with me... Damn Blaggards.)

Kinda forgot to check for the aussies, but now they be popping up from everywhere. Iĺl get a few more yet i will.

So if thee be from Melbourne, or up for a road trip, be you over 18 for the Rum running, or be you one who can get thee noddles for the ship mates. Come one come all and message me and together we shall organise a night of sea shanties.

Brilliant Kintaro. PM me and we shall have to start that damn be organisational process.

I think that be where us pirates fall down. When it comes thee time to organise anything, I be getting out me Rum then before you know it I be singing the sea shanties (Tear, remind me of home) and all organising goes out the window... Along wiv Roland when he be having a few to many and can't afford the bill.

And me, o' course. But some o' them be one-timerrs, who probly won't check their PMs. So we be needing to gather together...

I be one o' those who be too young for rum (or beer, as it may be). So lunch at a noodle bar it may be, Arr.

G`Day me harties,
Last cencus I wrote "Jedi" along with thousands of others, but this time as enlightenment has come, I proudly put "Pastafarian" when the results eventually come out it will be interesting to see the spread of the true word.
Any other Tasmanians here? :shellfish:
