You know, I could make a lot of money singing. If they don't pay me to shut up, I'll sing some more. :fsm_rock:

I can just see me one of these years, in an old folks home, jamming to the Stones. :fsm_rock:

>>I not only sing in the grocery store, I dance, too.

Ooo Drake, I'm not alone! I hear something good come on over the speakers and start singing along doing the 'white girl dance'. My personal fave. (The 'stirring the cauldron' motion, but get your whole body into it for maximum geekiness.) My kids immediately get wild-eyed and start looking around to see if anybody's looking. If I really wanna annoy 'em I do the 'slam dance' at them in the line up. (The one from Night at the Roxbury when they guys go to the club and dance at the girls.)
Hoo boy that therapy bill's just going up by the minute.
I just figure it's thiking ahead to drive your kids nuts. They sure aren't going to stick around for long. I know as soon as they're 18 they'll be running out of my house... heh heh heh.
Insurance. Yeah. That sounds good.

I actually had a job like that! I worked at the Renaissance Festival for a summer, and I would sing while people waited in line until someone gave me money to be quiet. It was actually quite profitable.

Sounds like the part for me!

Unfortunatly, our Renaissance Festival is already past...............

Why limit yourself to the Renaissance Festival?

I sing and dance whenever the music is right and no-one's ever paid me anything to stop doing it. What am I doing wrong? :fsm_rock:

I have singing skills... Everyone else thinks that I can't sing to save my life... I'm just misunderstood...

... Very misunderstood...

I have problems with mumbling, so even if I did have singing skills, none would hear it.

I am a bad singer naturally, but with practice I am now horrible! Women weep and men gnash their teeth. However, I think the talent lies in convincing people to give you money so you won’t sing. Otherwise, they could just walk away for free.

When I worked at the Renaissance Festival, I was very good at getting people to give me money for no good reason at all. I was the Wench on a Bench. (I was hired to be a hawker though.) I would harass people into buying souvenirs, but sometimes patrons would give me tips too. Sometimes it was to keep me from singing, other times because I said I was hungry so they’d buy me lunch, and once someone gave me $20 because he liked my accent!

There's going to be tiny Renaissance Festival on campus in a few weeks, and I'm volunteering to help out with that. I got sucked into organizing a belly dance troupe, which should be interesting because I'm not a very good dancer, and I have to teach everyone. (A professional dancer was supposed to help out, but no one has heard anything from her since she agreed to participate several weeks ago! :?)

I didn't know Belly Dancing was a part of the Renaissance Festivals, maybe thats because we never have any around here. Oh well, news to me. Good luck teaching everyone in time.

It's actually quite easy. It's a game you play called "find the note".
And remember: take your time doing so.

Also fun: Sing rock/metal/alternative songs in an opratic voice. Loud.

Hi guys. Just joining this thread.

Wish I could say I'm 39...again. In all honesty, though, I'm 50.
