Lost & Peter Pan

Has anyone noticed the similarities between the TV series 'Lost' and J M Barry's 'Peter Pan'.
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

They are both TV series except for Peter Pan?
Grand Deducer Watson of Sherlock. NoName, no pack drill. Astral zone changed five times a day (flexible). Great at manifesting parking spaces by thought control. Hatred of terminology of survivors and commitment to win-win reality.

These are the clue's so far:

Hidden Island

Pirate Ship

One of the 'Others' carries a Teddy Bear.

There is a character called Hurley and in peter Pan there is a fellar called Curley.

Mr Echo in 'Lost' corresponds to Cekko (big Indian) in Peter Pan.

Children are stolen to join the Lost Boys.

Crocodile with clock in belly - corresponds with bunker with the timer inside.

Sounds more like Brideshead Revisited to me.

Well, Tiger Lily was at war for control of the island. I just don't seem to recall that among her (stereotypical) characteristics was drunk driving.

Unless you are suggesting that the women in both are just blantant sex objects!!!!! Problem with that idea is that the men in Peter Pan aren't sex objects. :wink:

Wardrobe

Please just look at the evidence...Lost is Peter Pan but without the excitment and much less of a challenge for wardrobe!!! :D
