I'll take that bet, and double it.

Either way, I win. :D

Point of interest:

The Black Panthers actually bought their first guns from sales of Mao's Little Red Book. They went to Chinatown & bought a load of them, then sold them on campus at Berkeley (where it was fashionable at the time) for about 4 times the price. They still sold like hotcakes.

I saw this on a doco called 'Berkeley in the '60s'. Apparently they'd been selling them for about 4 months before any of them decided to actually open one up & read it.

Maybe our Loose Canon will be in that fashion (although leather will be too expensive). And then there is the hardtack edition  .

Have we discussed an optional leatherette book cover sort of deal?

You know, we should start making some considerable noise about this... All we want is religious equality. In the States people are supposed to be GARAUNTEED Religious equality...

We'll even give them a discount... Twelve books for the price of a dozen...

In Hawaii, they have the Bible and a holy book from an Asian religion in hotels. This shows that they are willing to accept multiple religions.

Until we have a group that will provide the Book for no cost, we can't hope to compete. The Gideons are picking up the tab for the Bible, so we gotta get something going to actually provide the FSM's Book.

So what you are saying is we need some pretty hefty sponsorship...

Is that so... I think I may have to see what I can do about that.

I will report directly to you with any progress.

What I was suggesting would be a seperate soft fake leatherlook book cover that could have flaps for the front and back covers, with enough room to insert stiff cardboard to add rigidity.

Maybe we could manufacture and sell it at the online store.
