Also, challenge them. Tell them that if they can find a single scrap of empirical evidence that His Noodly Appendages don't exist... so on.

Kam - if you really look into the "why" of how this (FSM) all was started, I don't know that thye will have the same opinion. They may (you can't convert 'em all) but at least you'll know that you've "shown them the light." We're not here to parody religion, we're here because we are against religious groups using "ID" to push their creationist agendas into the public school systems. Also, we're here to drink spriits (if you're of age), have some raucous, wild, boistrous, unruly, rioutous, rowdy, noisy fun while eating pasta with pirates and midgets!

well just show them the evidence. thier is near proof that pasta is real but i have seen nothing to suggest the invisable man is real...

except when this one guy robbed a bank and when he ran out he tripped(over the invisable man) and shot himself in the leg.

My mom saw the forums and now thinks it is anti-Christian. She mentioned it only once, but has left it alone. I think she is beginning to respect that my religious beliefs are my own.

Or she knows that I am an atheist and she knows how stubborn I am... and that with only 3 months left before I graduate and head off to college, there isn't anything she could do but damage our relationship.

Any of those (or none of those) could be correct.
