I know I haven't been on the message board for a while but I am not new aroud here. Yes I understand that Pastafarianism is aimed at getting ID removed from science* (not just schools), something I feel strongly about. (Hence my recent involvement with Henne Penne's media project). However, I think that in order to be effective I think the philosophy must be embraced. Otherwise it is just making fun of religion which is not acceptable to many of us.





*Such as the opposing points of view regarding Global Warming, e.g. that it is god's wrath and a precursor to the Rapture.

and by the way MPT when I made the comment about you earlier it was only ment as something that popped into my head with no real inspiration nor proof of my statement which is why I stated that it sounded like you were if I would have said "MPT your the kind of person who wouldn't get on a plane if you saw anyone who looked at all muslim getting on" then I would need proof and I would be more of an ass than I'm already aware of

Hey, it's not unusual for people not to read scriptures before commenting on them. Although it is ironic that Zankou suggested that I do a little reading ( ! ) I will defend his right to comment on something he knows little about. After all I have only read parts of the bible (hardly any OT sooooo boring) but I have opinions on Christianity. Hey there are Christians out there who haven't bothered with their own book and there are loads of Muslims who can't read Arabic.

In the interest of fairness the Kohran wears thin after a few verses.

The Bhagavad Gita however is quite interesting although I will admit I only read it after hearing Oppenheimer's quote.

Firts off, i haven't been able to get ahold of a copy of the book, but intend to.

Read it before you mock it. It contains some really inspiring stories, and some really fucked up stories.

And of course, it qualifies as the worlds first horror saga.
