me mum has been saying that me eye patch will be damaging me eye sight oi can't find information either for or against it oi would appriciate it if anyone with knowledge on this would contribute to this topic

Yaarh your a pirate arrent you? if so the fsm will protect ur eyes as log u have an eyepatch u wont get anny sand in you eye when you are diging for treasure so you need an eye patch!

oi be tryin ta foind this one article that be saying that poirates be wearing ye eyepatches not only to cover unsightly missing eyes but also to improve night vision in the eye which is cover so they be able ta find the grog in the haul of their vessel

If my memory serves me right, they proved that it did help night vision.
