One of our number (Graham Miller, who posts under the name walktheplank) is running the London Marathon for charity.
Being a devout pastafarian, Graham will honour the noodly one during his run by wearing an FSM badge on his skull and crossbones bandana (along with an eyepatch of course).
Below is the text of Graham's original e-mail. He's running for a very worthy cause (which has a secure website for donations), and I hope you will all support our representative in one of the world's great sporting events.
(This is an Auntie Dee Dee approved message!)
Graham's original e-mail follows:
On the 23rd April I have a place to run in the London Marathon. Completing
it will be quite an achievement given my history of injuries and advancing
years.
I have decided to run for a registered charity 'The Meningitis Trust'.
This is in support of two Royal Mail colleagues whose two baby daughters
both contracted meningitis, tragically one of them passed away. The
Meningitis Trust is fighting meningitis worldwide as an expert in its
field. The charity supports families coping with bereavement or living with
the affects of meningitis: developing education programmes for the public
and health professionals and funding life-saving research into vaccines and
treatments.
Making a donation to this worthy cause could not be easier, click on the
link below to access my website and you can make a donation by a secure
credit card transaction. Also if you are a UK Tax Payer an extra 28% in
tax will be added on to your gift at no cost to you.

I have included as many people on the circulation list that I can think of
but will probably have omitted some obvious names. If you want to check
who I have included, please ask me. Also if the link to the website does
not work, please let me know.
Thank you for your support.
