Santa AA Headquarters, Portsmouth.
DaveL's log notes:
* 128mm anti aircarft gun mounted on Admiral Benbow is werkin quite well. Just ask that pigeon that Oi tested it on.
* Concrete has been added to all chimney stacks, he won't be comin down our fireplaces in a hurry.
* More sandbags bein' hauled up in case of return fire. Santa pledged he'll be ready for us this year.
* While the rest of the world is decoratin' their houses with Xmas decorations, Portsmouth will be busy preparin' decorations of a slightly more "explosive" nature.
* Granny Borthwick has purchased a lovely surface-to-air missile kit for her front verandah. "How lovely" she proclaimed.
* All ship guns in Portsmouth Harbour are now turned skyward. Even the cabin boys have found a couple of good rocks for their slingshots.
* Big Ron has promised an extra serve of venison, if we bag "You-know-who" this year.
Only 26 days to go fat boy! Have at ye over Portsmouth, ye blaggard, we be waitin for ye!!

If onlee I hadn't a sold me mummy to thee Aztecs she moight ave send me a pair o socks or a cake.
