YArrrr...

Oi think that was during the wedding reception. 'Dugg-ette' was telling a few bawdy Dugong gags in this snap. She apparently laid 'em in the aisles with laughter, but I couldn't understand a bleedin' word.

I was asked to say a few words in Dugong-ese to her family, but it was difficult to speak with all the air bubbles.

Playbilge Book of the week:

Image

Dennis Weevily's latest blockbuster heralds the arrival of a new breed of lightening-paced thriller…surprising at every twist, absorbing at every turn, and in the end, utter cobblers.

Is there a mind bending code hidden in the works of Leonardo Da Capellini? Is there a hidden meaning in the Long Winded Tales of Walktheplank? Is there any sense at all in Black Bart's posts?

These and many other questions are never answered in this book.

That be a fine book there Barty. Oi particularly enjoy Chapter 3 'The Great Jubbly Encounter' and Chapter 4 'My Twin Potatoes'.
Riveting reading to the very last drop - of the 6 bottles of rum required to finish it.

Aaarrrgh I has got some bad news on the Manatee front matey. I have been reading 'Love in the time of Cholera' by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and I came accross this passage:

Captain Samaritano had an almost maternal affection for the manatees, because they seemed to him like ladies damned by some extravagant love, and he believed the truth of the legend that they were the only females in the animal kingdom that had no mates.

Book Review

Oh Crikey! It's that Satan chap again! by Dennis Weevily (1313 pages, price 1 chicken.)

Once again Weevily invites the reader into his world of black magic, bad eggs, cads and bounders.

In this terrifying tale, the heroic aristocrat The Duke de Richbastid battles his greatest foe, the evil sorceror Baron Von Hun.

In his latest attempt to destroy the hero of the privileged classes, Von Hun has summoned the fearful entity known as He Whose Shirt Must Be Lifted.

The Duke finds himself backed into a corner this time. Will he escape? Read it to find the chilling answer.
