Captain Kidd is innocent!

The Scottish Parliament is to debate a motion to pardon Captain Kidd.

But where be Kidd's Treasure mateys?

If he be found innocent o Piracy does that mean he nivver had no treasure! :shocked:

This reminds of an amusing anecdote. Many years ago, when BBC productions were pretty cheap and nasty, the Beeb made a dramatisation of Treasure Island. The final episode ended with piles of treasure flowing from it's hiding place in Ben Gun's cave. Would you believe some eagle eyed viewer spotted a raffle ticket amongst the Pirate Gold and wrote in to complain.
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

Actually, the BBC is known as "Auntie". Coincidence? I think not...
