Cool. Good luck with that, but can you send someone round to clean my fridge? Only it's not mine now and it smells alarmingly of bread dough. I think my rubber chicken has started to ferment.

3M have invented super post-it glue. The FSM skin on my iPod uses it. It isn't permanent but it doesn't fall off like your normal post it. You might be able to take over the world quicker with technology like that.

Excellent....

Postby Henny Penne the Fierce » Thu May 03, 2007 8:41 am

Hello guys-

We are still working out the details. My producer is meeting with the pirate ship people tomorrow, as well as locking down our presenter to the day of the 12th.

It would be so cool to have everyone dressed as pirates- even crap pirates. It's going to be hilarious.

:)

I will keep everyone posted about what is coming up- I will probably start a new thread just for the planning once we (hopefully) have the green light tomorrow.

In the meantime, I will contact you all individually to keep the info flowing.

Occam, I know you are in two minds, but I hope you go. You were brilliant in your interview and I know the southern based Pastafarians would like you too.

And Carpy, I am so glad you can come. We do have a few other wenches too, so you won't be alone!

I think I will come down. I will stick to my scholarly approach but I will acquire some piratey accessories and work on my pirate talk. It's harder to talk like a stereotypical pirate when you have a northern accent because of the media bias towards southern pirates.

Pirate gathering

Ahoy mates!!!

Some Christian fundamentalist traffic warden has clamped me ship whilst I was nipping into the offie to get some more grog - so I might have to take the train - he didn't seem to agree that having a peg leg qualified me to use 5 disabled parking spaces!!!!

See you on the 12th!

Nick

Just noticed on the Golden Hind web site

They serve traditional Tudor friend there including err 'pasta'?
Did the Tudor's eat Pasta?.

Managed to find some costume but unfortunately I'm out of swords, does anyone have any spare ones (plastic/latex please)

I'll have to root through my room to see how man cutlasses I have...

This may take a while, but I'll bring all I find :)

I think some of my friends have spare swords too, I'll have to ask

These any good?

The Old Thameside Inn,Pickfords Wharf, Clink St
The Rake, 14 Winchester Walk
The George, 77 Borough High St

Or you can book the upstairs room in the Old King's Head for free.
It holds about 30-40 people, plus the bar downstairs is quite quaint.

Can we get this on the main FSM webpage,

This is a Pastafarian first (well in the modern age, pirates obviously did this all the time in older colder times)
