Welcome Scruffy!

You're technically the first Okanagan Pastafarian, although I'm an ex-pat from the Vernon area, and will hopefully be moving back out that way in the next couple of years.

EDIT: There was one user who signed up, but never posted that was from the Okanagan.

I'll add you to the list!

You know, i am rather surprised how many Canadians we get on this board. It seems to be us and UK, all meddling with teh affairs of Kansas :)

But really, we just got three more today, and that doesn't include the couple I have coming (eventually)

I was somewhat shocked when I was looking through the "New Convert" page, several of the people are from the same town as me - or are very close. This is the first time I've seen this happen on a forum.

Say, you all are Canucks, eh? Do you know Bill from Burnaby or Larry from Lethbridge or Kathy from Kelowna?

Sorry, a cliché I know, yet it happens to me all the time when I meet people outside the Great White North. We must still be a small tribe.

And I know all those 'let the eastern b***tards freeze in the dark' jokes 'cause my family out west just loves to keep telling them to me. I'm biding my time waiting for California to sink into the Pacific and then I'll watch them lose all their hydroelectric power. Just you wait. Then they'll be sorry and maybe I'll be able to see the Burgess Shale without climbing up so high.

. . . just another Ontario couch potato

One of my friends likes to mess with people who ask questions like that.

Larry from Lethbridge? Oh yeah... he died. Didn't you hear?
