She doesn't look very poor. I mean she has chest behind her there which I can only assume is full of treasure.

She may be rich, but money can't by happiness. In that way, she is poor.

Wait, what am I saying? Of course money can buy happiness! That's what pirating is all about! Free rum for everyone!

If the rum's free, who needs money?
Mind you, I've been places where $10 CDN will keep you pickled in rum all night long...

Can I please count as Canadian?

I can see Fort Erie out my window and I'm all alone, here.

Having been to Fort Erie, I express my apologies.

:D

Seeing as you're closer to Toronto than to New York City, I think we can count you.

yes.
in Ste Simone PQ...or is it St. Simon? I don't remember, I was, like, 8 when they moved.

Look guys, I *REALLY* am Canadian. I'm even bilingual. I speak French terribly after 10 years of it in school. That's like, totally Ontario-ian.

After having taken French all through school, it's always been a humbling experience for me to have Quebeckers look at me like I've got a lobster on my head when I try to speak French at them.

My only truck with French is to read it, which I can manage passibly (with about the same comprehension as I read chemistry papers... get the point but skip the big words).

I've no talent for spoken languages.

Can you add me to the list? I'll be counted.

Peterborough, Ontario
It all kind of went downhill from there.

Yarr! Peterborough! I lived there for a time. The waterway makes it a fine base for pirating.

Welcome!

Yarr.

Ah. That's what I get for not reading the entire discussion.

Edit: my, there are a lot of Durham Region Pastafarians. Five by my count, and probably more, since some of the "Toronto (GTA)" locations are undoubtedly in the eastern suburbs of the T-dot.
