North Carolina State University Pastafarians

Postby Lord of Numa » Thu Nov 06, 2008 6:31 pm

Hey, are there any NCSU Pastafarians out there? I would really like to start an official, NCSU-Recognized student organization devoted to this.
May the glorious Flying Spaghetti Monster bathe you in his wondrous Mercy, Love, and Garlic Sauce!
May He bless MP3 Fiesta and their noodlicious music bargains!
May He also watch over Roffleopolis and touch it with his marvelous Noodly Appendages.

I think that many on the NCSU campus could use a good slap from the divine noodled appendage of the FSM. To get things started, I propose a meeting at Mitch's Tavern.

Every year, an intolerant conservative Christian group (Called2Action.org) has obtained permission from the City of Raleigh to erect a substantial (concrete and steel) overtly Christian display (a Nativity scene) in Moore Square (our PUBLIC park) during the month of December.

I'd love to see a Flying Spaghetti Monster display put up next to it this year. The City of Raleigh would have a difficult time denying Pastafarians the same right that it grants Christians.

If you're up for some Pastararian activism, let me know.

I have a whole bunch of tools and a big truck I am really, really liking the idea of creating a nativity scene depicting his holy noodlyness.... Give me an e-mail if you are interested... we should probably get rolling really soon.

I'm only an hour away from Raleigh and I also have lots of tools! If you guys are serious about creating an FSM display for that park I'd be willing to drive up there for a day or two.

I run the Rutgers Pastafarians, and I know Jersey's a little far, but we offer our support in any way possible.
