Hey, are there any NCSU Pastafarians out there? I would really like to start an official, NCSU-Recognized student organization devoted to this.

I think that many on the NCSU campus could use a good slap from the divine noodled appendage of the FSM. To get things started, I propose a meeting at Mitch's Tavern.

Every year, an intolerant conservative Christian group (Called2Action.org) has obtained permission from the City of Raleigh to erect a substantial (concrete and steel) overtly Christian display (a Nativity scene) in Moore Square (our PUBLIC park) during the month of December.

I'd love to see a Flying Spaghetti Monster display put up next to it this year. The City of Raleigh would have a difficult time denying Pastafarians the same right that it grants Christians.

If you're up for some Pastararian activism, let me know.

I'm only an hour away from Raleigh and I also have lots of tools! If you guys are serious about creating an FSM display for that park I'd be willing to drive up there for a day or two.
