God is a limit.
Wikipedia is approaching God.

Wikipaedia is a superlative; a putative god might approach Wikipaedianess

Wikipedia is fallible, God, in the Christian sense, is not.

Google is more of a God than Wikipedia, and you have to donate to it. I've never heard of anybody donating to God, as such.

Hah! I bet I can make it not fallible through the right definition of Wikipedia. For instance, consider the redefinition I propose:

God an entity that just about anyone can edit, and is therefore an unreliable source of information
Wikipedia a network of data that serves as the standard for other data, regardless of any changes, because the standard is there, even if we can't see it; we can only near it.

I see. Actually, that does sort of make sense, except that Gods know all and see all, so they could wheedle out the untruths and perceive the truths behind them.

The Almighty WikiPedia can wheedle out untruths as well. His Fingers are the Editors, who delete truths that are not truths and adds truths that are.

But surely the editors and their programs are fallible?

They can fall victim to the perils of humankind as well, can't they?

Those chosen by WikiPedia do not fail in Wiki's purpose despite their faults, for WikiPedia acts in ways that may seem foreign to us.

Ah, so we're talking about the purpose here. If that was true, all the gods you could name, and all processes of puposefulness are true. Anything with a purpose would be a god.

Therefore my argument is valid :)
