This is by far my favorite calendar, to address your last question first, and is as unnecessarily complicated as all the other stuff I like.

Muscle Day, Mysticality day, Moxie day - those are stat days. On stat days, you get 50% more of the relevant stat from a fight than you normally would.

Stat days depend on moons.

Muscle days come in pairs: the days when one moon is black and the other is white, and the day after. Moon on the left is called Ronald, moon on the right is called grimace.

Mysticality days come between the muscle and moxie days, and don't come in pairs. It's when the moons are brightest, when one is completely white and the other is half-white.

Moxie days are the day both moons are black and the day directly after.

If you're into obsessive planning, you'll want to make sure you start out with 200 adventures on your class's primary stat day, and then add on to that, so you can have as many adventures with the benefits as possible.

The holidays all follow the KoL calendar. Git yerself into a clan (there are many benefits), and you'll see the calendar. Off the top of my head, Valentines day is on Frankuary 4th, St. Sneaky Pete's day is sometime in Starch, Oyster egg day is sometime in April, Halloween is Porktober 8th and Feast of Boris (St. Sneaky Pete's day, except with food) on Boozember 7th.

Wait, that means Valentine's day is this Friday!

Actually, you're not quite correct there.
Ronald is on the left and Grimmace is on the right, that part's true. However, when Grimmace is full, it's a muscle day. When Ronald is full, it's a Mysticality day. When they're both the same, it's a moxie day.

Anyhoo, my descriptions of symptoms of stat days, although different than yours, still hold equally true, IMHO.

My clan is really more of a big closet. I just dump all my junk in there. There is no PvP or clan support in anything. Alpaca joined out of curiosity and I accepted him only because he's in hard core and can't touch any of the stash! (Mean ain't I?) All the members of the clan except Alpaca are my multis. It's an easy way to transfer goods from one to another without having to use the mail.

On a side note, all my multis are equal. There is no one favored over another. The clan is run like a beehive! When Alpaca ascends again I'll probably boot him.

The clan is really for just a few things:
the meat tree - grants you an extra 500 meat a day.
the calendar - grants 3 extra adventures a day,
the clan gym - gives you a place to productively burn off extra adventures.
the clan stash - access to the clan stash is definately a good thing, just don't use up all your karma, and be sure to contribute.

My thoughts on defeating any of the bosses is to just keep flailing away at them. Usually around the 5th time they are defeated. This works especially well with the NS.

The NS is the one that's actually game-mechanically written so that every time she kills you, she's easier next time 'round. At least, that's the way I know it, unless Jick changed that to also happen on the other bosses.

For the boss bat: Get your epic hat from the dark and dank and whatever quest, and get your epic weapon. Both are 50 power with a total of +14 to your main stat, so after you have those, killing the boss bat should be no problem.

In general, for bosses, unless I have a specific strategy, I just wait two or three levels before attempting them. I can usually just outpower them, then. ('Cept the Naughty Sorceress.)

Epic hat is from the dark and dank quest, when you beat the boss.

Epic weapon - er, what class are you? In any case, go to the lemon slots game in the casino with a ten-leaf clover in your inventory to get the big rock. Then combine it with whatever basic items your class came with to create the weapon.

Once you get the big rock, combine with ravioli hat. Combine that with Pasta Spoon. Whee!
