Mine is a picture of my girlfriend and I at Niagara Falls. :)

We had PZ on the Triceratops for awhile, too, but right now UDK#1 has it set to the picture of the ultra-cute Japanese flying squirrels.

It is, isn't it?

I took several photos there, but mine are nothing like this.

Speaking of taking pics, the cheapest wedding photographer in Duluth is $1000 for the day and then packages are $250 - $1250!

Scott, are they trying to price themselves out of a job?! My whole wedding didn't cost that much!

Why not invite everyone to bring cameras, video cameras etc., tell the guests that they may take pictures on condition that they let you have a copy and leave a laptop open at the reception for the guests to download them for you?

I'll bet you get far more joy out of them than out of a load of stuffy, posed, formal pics that will only see the light of day once a millenium.

Most of the people at my wedding will be drunk. I'm not trusting in them to document things for me, thank you very much.

Drunk at the wedding? Why? Is that the only way they can bear to be there?

At least my guests had the decency to be sober until well into the reception. At least, they were all sober until hubby and I left to go on honeymoon. I have no evidence as to what happened after that.

So far our wedding is at about $7k, but that includes NO ONE paying for their own rooms at the resort....

Holy shit. One more reason to never get married - it's freaking expensive.

On that note, how much was the engagement ring, if you don't mind my asking? Because I was looking in the Sears catalogue a while ago, and I chose out a 500$ ring that I thought would be nice. I made a comment about my expensive taste, and my mother laughed at me... apparently they usually cost a lot more than that?

Jewelers say 'two months salary.'
Most don't spend that much though. My wife and I spent about $1200 for both our rings back in 1996.
