If we are all in the same room forever, with no chance of escape, after we've designated a corner for the latrine, we will start to panic, and then, some will begin to resolve themselves to their fate. Which at that point turns the adventure into a waiting game, so that those of us who are resolved to survive can start eating either those willing to die, those that won't stop whining, or those that are easily over powered.

Then we all die after a couple of months from disease anyway.
