Mine, without question, would have to be Thief of Time. It's just plain excellent.

I long ago gave up trying to pick one...as soon as I do, I start thinking "But such and so a one had this..."

And now I've got to start with "The Colour of Magic" and read the whole bunch over again...see what you're done?
