Manos: the Hands of Fate is unfortunately disqualified since it appeared on MST3K. I have seen it, and boy does it s-u-c-k! However, the MST rule was posted early in the thread. :(

Stay away from Cloverfield. Excellent movie.

Five of us went to see Cloverfield. One actually liked it, and that wasn't me. Here's one I think more people can agree on, though: the 1980 Flash Gordon. You know, the one Queen did the soundtrack for.

It was an enjoyable summer experience, nothing special, but far from the worst movie ever. Cloverfield I can't comment on, as I started drinking about fifteen minutes in and was passed out at 25 minutes. All I know was that it bored me enough for me to start drinking mid-movie.

I'm disappointed. I come here for worst movies ever, not mediocre or good movies that people happened not to like. Where's Manos: The Hands of Fate, fer chrissakes?

Have we mentioned 'The Creeping Terror' yet? If we haven't, we should have...it's way worse than 'Plan Nine from Outer Space.' Here is one of the highlights...a woman being eaten by a carpet:

What was wrong with Flash? One of the best lines of all time in movie history

Classic.

Not disagreeing, but you know deep down that you like it for all the wrong reasons. :)

Hmm... I'm still wracking my brain to find a movie that qualifies that was not created by Ed Wood and was not on MST3K...

AH! EUREKA! HIGHLANDER II!

Any Highlander movie past the first. I have a friend who stated "There can be only one; there should have been only one." I tend to agree.

As for Flash, I like it too, but we all know it's really not that good, and for some reason, that's part of the charm.

My worst movies..

The Sound of Music
Nurse Betty
The Beach
Dungeons and Dragons
Grease

I'm sure all of these were meant to be serious movies...

Hah... The Sound Of Music is my dad's favourite movie.

I think that's just because of Julie Andrews, though.

So yeah, I went and got a blog.

My mum used to watch The Sound of Music when I was a kid, so I've seen it many, many times (too many times)

I went to the movies to see The Beach and I walked out before the end. I hired Nurse Betty and watched 5minutes of it. Dungeons and Dragons I watched all of, but that was because me and my friend were in the cinema trying to guess which sci-fi flick they'd ripped each scene off. I've always thought Grease was pathetic... I don't like musicals, I just don't see how people can believe that people just burst into song mid-conversation.
