Thanks to Bart and Nef Yoo, "Hotel California" has been stuck in my head for several days. As earworms go, not bad.

Just back from my pal's 50th party. He played a version of Big Star's "13" that will stay with me for a long time. Damn, what I wouldn't give to be that good...

I was watching Scrubs online, and they had Sam Lloyd (Ted) sing "Hey Ya." I always hated Outkast, but the acoustic cover of Hey Ya is amazing. Unfortunately, the one from Scrubs is unavailable, but I found one from a gentleman named Mat Weddle that's nearly as good.

I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

Thanks, but I found that already, and watched it multiple times. I was thinking more along the lines of an MP3. I know Ted's band is an actual band in real life (called the Blanks), and I really hope they make their own Scrubs music CD. At the very least, it should have their cover of Hey Ya and Over the Rainbow. Theirs is my favorite version of that song as well. It has a ukulele.

I managed to get "never gonna give you up" stuck in my english teachers head with my romeo and juliet presentation (mentioned on the good new thread) mean while, for me lately it's been disney songs (mostly switching between "go the distance" and "reflection" from Hercules and Mulan respectively) and a few days ago it was that song from "flashdance" (she's a maniac! maniac!) I don't realy know the words exept for a vauge idea of the chorus, I've never seen the movie, I've just heard the song on tv, though I can't remember when or where and I don't know if I've ever heared the whole thing. everytime I mention having "that song from flashdance" stuch in my head, ubidubium starts singing something else, which I've never heared at all and doesn't sound catchy in the least.

What a feeling, bein's believin'
I can't have it all, now I'm dancin' for my life
Take your passion, and make it happen
Pictures come alive, you can dance right through your life...

The main theme to Flashdance, and as a bonus was sung by Irene Cara, who was once a member of the Short Circus on The Electric Company!

And now translated for you younger folks:
(Main theme to an old movie) sung by (someone you probably have never heard of) who was in (singing group you have never heard of) on (TV show you are too young to have watched).

There.

While getting my eye exam today the "Pet Shop" skit from Monty Python was running through my head.
