It's been over a year now that I don't have cable at my place...
I do watch shows that are on at the moment; I'm just a little delayed because I have to wait for the DVDs.
I'm a big fan of House. I'm almost done with the fifth season now.
Also, back when I had cable, I'd watch the Discovery Channel all the time for Mythbusters and Daily Planet. (Yeah I know, the latter makes me a big fat nerd. =B)

The new Armstrong and Miller show is really good, the apologising childrens' TV hosts from the first episode were brilliant.

Watching Doctor Who right now - the episode Blink. I can see why it won so many awards.

We went over to Virgin lately and we get lots of extra channels like Sky one and two...they are ALL crap!
Is it only the BBC and Channel 4 who actually spend money making creative television? (in the UK that is...the US is giving us some brilliant TV like Curb Your Enthusiasm and...I'm sure there are others...Simpsons, South Park etc).

Watched the premiere of the remake of "V". I think I'll need to see a few more episodes before I pass judgment, but I think the show is going to have one really big plot problem: The Internet. [SPOILER]Sure, lizard aliens having plants in the media in the 1980's version might have been a credible way to keep the resistance underground, but now? Just upload some videos of dead lizard men to YouTube, and it'll be on the Internet forever! It just wouldn't be plausible that they could shut that down[/SPOILER)]

I finished all of Whedon's old work (perhaps sacrificing my gpa in the process) and am considering Dollhouse.
Additionally, I am watching The Big Bang Theory. It is quite funny, especially if you have ever taken a physics class. Though for the life of me I cannot figure out the one about circular chickens and vacuums...

I have heard very little good about Dollhouse. But maybe it just doesn't compare to his other work, and is actually a watchable show. The Big Bang Theory is pretty funny, I guess.
