Real Pirate Grog 'Bumbo'

Postby epicurean on Sun Sep 30, 2007 6:57 am

Ahoy me hearties! This is the better version of 'Navy Grog' that was enjoyed by the pirates in the caribbean with better ingredients to hand. Enjoy every friday and share with fellow Pastafarians :fsm_yarr:

Bumbo Recipe;

2 parts Navy Rum
1 part chilled water or coconut water
Sugar cubes to taste (brown or cane)
Cinnamon to taste
Nutmeg to taste

Add all ingredients together and stir. Traditionally served slightly cooled but add ice if you preffer. Enjoy. RAmen

Yarr, I be reading about this in "The Short an' Bloody History of Pirates" It's a book about what pirates were like when we ruled the seven seas! And there were no pesky ninjas around!

I be wanting some!

RAmen!
