The best Pizza in __________ Can Be Found @....

Postby ken worley on Fri Jan 05, 2007 9:52 am

I don't mess around with my pizza...
When I go to a new town, I want a "head's up" on who makes the best pie.
Saves wasted steps.

I currently live in Pittsburgh, and it is my opinion that the best pizza is to be found here...
http://www.mineospizza.com

Mineo's pizza house, Squirrel Hill...
I am going there in a coupla hours for my weekly pie.
My truck is broken down while I wait for a new cylinder head to arrive via Fed-Ex.
So I will make the 17 mile trip by bus, a 93 minute trip involving two transfers, and much waiting time.
I will get a large pepperoni, as usual, and eat 1/2 of it's 12 slices there...I will be stuffed.
I will bring the other half home, and eat it late tonight, while watching tv, and surfing.
Then I will sink into a sweet mozzerella-coma, and sleep till noon tomorrow.

Anyway, if you think you have the skinny on who makes the best pie in your neck'o'the woods, step up, and post it here....
Then the wandering FSMmember can check here before they go on trips.

Best Pizza in New Zealand can be found at Hell
http://www.hell.co.nz
Watch for them overseas though, they hold the 'Hell' trademark for pizza in Australia, the UK and I think the USA, and were recently sold to a larger, multinational company.

I did a google search...I guess this pizza place must actually be on the base itself?...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulaski_County%2C_Missouri#Cities_and_towns

Perhaps I will try it if I am ever interred there, concentration-camp style, by the government, in a future purge on non-conformity...
(It'll happen one day, mark my words....)

In Penn Station, NY, it's Rose Pizza. But then, in NYC it's hard to find bad pizza.
True terror lies in the futility of human existence.

Malcolm Reynolds is my co-pilot.

The best pizza in Memphis is at the Memphis Pizza Cafe.

That is sad for Atlanta, that the best pizza comes from a national franchise.

New york pizza is awesome. I had as much of it as i could during my brief visit.

They also do a pretty good pizza in the Museum of Natural History, although you have to be careful of all the evolution propaganda around

Best pizza in St. Louis?
Most St. Louisans will tell you "Imos."
No. NO NO NO NO.
Imos is gross.
Gianino`s is hands-down the best.
