President Bush Hates Who?

Postby Lynne on Sat Sep 10, 2005 1:15 pm

I am uneasy in my mind. On television last night, Chris Rock stated that our American President hates midgets. Where does this leave us? Is this an attack on our religion? Is this a new part of the Patriot Act I didn't get a chance to read because it was classified as Top Secret before it was distributed? I am too shocked to search for signs in my oregano leaves. Please, someone come to my aid before I end up walking my own plank in despair.

Lynne:

Ease your mind.

If you recall, FSM created midgits, not midgets, so you don't have to worry!

Peace!

Em, begging Your Cardinalship's Most Reverential Pardon and all, but since Chris Rock was being quoted, how do we know whether he or the American President actually said "midget" or "midgit"? That is a tough distinction for Unbelievers who listen not for the fine distinctions required by those Truly In The Know. Nay, I am still stewing in my own tomatoey sauces.

If Chris Rock really said that, I for one take this very seriously.

Thing is, Bush doesn't HATE anybody. You'd have to be aware of others to actively HATE them, and he's not aware. He's TOTALLY clueless.

If you don't have mega-money, and give it to the republican party, you're off his radar screen.

Well thank you, Your Aunt Deedeeship. I feel better already. Kinda. Sorta. Kinda sorta.

If the Inheritance Tax isn't going to cause you problems (less than 2% of Americans will benefit from what they call 'the Death Tax' so that's probably NONE of us, and nobody we'd be allowed to know) Then GWB doesn't hate you, he just doesn't need you. Or so he thinks.

Forget the labels "Death tax" and "inheritance tax": it's a tax on rich kids and rich widows/widowers. The Republican effort to cut that tax amounts to an effort to lower the tax paid by rich kids, and rich surviving spouses. If you're a powerful member of the Republican party, apparently cutting taxes paid by rich kids is an extremely important issue.
