deciffered Al PAstihah

Postby Ferdinand de Lasagne on Wed Aug 31, 2005 5:12 am

 Al Pastihah.

In the name of the merciful and compassionate Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Praise belongs to HIm, the Lord of the pasta,
he, the juicyful, the well-cooked,
he, the noodle in the days of judgement!
Thee we serve our pasta and Thee we ask for parmesan and oregano.
Guide us to the right recipe,
the path of those Thou cooking gracious to;
not of those Thou art wroth with; nor of those who err.

Fortnately and with the help of the Great Flying Spaghetti Monster I could translate a palimpsest written in ancient arabic...

BTW: Well, have you ever mentioned that arabic letters look like noodles?
may the pesto be with You all...

You might be onto something there ferdinand. A whole swag of written forms resemble noodles. Not just Arabic writing. Japanese and Chinese Kanji are almost entirley comprised of noodles, in fact many of them look as though the designers had just come from some really fantastic Ramen Dinner (Ramen is as good in His eyes as Spaghetti - As long as the noodles in it are delicious) before thinking about creating a written language. The Phoenecian Alphabet as well had a few that could quite easily be interpreted as a direct sign of His noodley-ness of an influence on these pioneers of writing. Greek? Of course, greek writing is very noodley, beta is like a noodle hanging off a fork or a chopstick. What more evidence do you need.

It seems clear to me now that FSM is the influence behind ALL our writing.

not only Greek letters! Think of the small accents, which resemble cheese on a plate of well cooked pasta, and consider also the shape of a Greek gamma or a xi for example.
But consider also holy scriptures of Sanskrit...
Our letters were _reshaped_ by _heretics_, so let's use the old, spagetthi shaped old letters, let's write in accadic, aramaeic and mandaean. So that we remember HIM in every letter.

There is only one explanation for this: HE, the FSM, brought as also the letters and the language. He, the blessed one!

RAmen!

We could even "rediscover", the true language of FSM. From which all of those squigly letters came from. A language so full of beauty that its almost incomprehensible to the human eye.

for beginners, you should get the font "Pasta Al Dente" (http://www.utpala.org/indojin/font/archive/pastaaldente.zip) and install it. So the holy recipe books are quite easier to understand as every letter praises HIM! It's obvious even for amateurs in linguinistics, that all our letters derive from the HOLY ALPHABET. Doesn't they look quite similiar to the letters of another holy language, Sanskrit, but upside down?

Well done, but it'd have to be Al Bastihah, since there's no P in Arabic.

Here's the original text (I think...)

I forgot it, I'm very sorry. It can only be a "B", because the noodles were cooked and well done. The only hard thing was the cheese, which was called Parmigiano" in Italian, but we'll call it "Barmesan" to praise HIM, the Lord, HIS NOODLENESS.

PS: I Also will switch my tagline to "may the Besto be with You all...", when I'll find out how this can be done...
