Noodly One has been questioned

Postby Fubie on Fri Jan 05, 2007 4:37 pm

When I informed one of my friends that today was my religious holiday..she asked, Why.
Having no answer for this, I followed religion 101 and screamed at her for questioning my beliefs, but she is right. What meaning is this every friday off hoilday?

Reason: Why not?

But the FSM suggests no screaming for lack of comprehension. Check the holy eight I'd Rather You Didn'ts.

His Noodly Greatness' reasoning is very simple... Much work goes into the making of the holy dish. There is garlic to be roasted, fresh pasta to be made, tomatos to be crushed, and for those of us of the carnivorous sect, meatballs to be seasoned and pressed. And long before any of that one must ground the seminola into flour, pick the garlic and herbs, and pluck the divine red fruit from it's vines. Much work is needed.

So it makes sense to have the holiest of holy days on Friday, at the end of the work week.

I look forward to the day when it is a legal statutory holiday here in Canada.

I am sad. My days off at work currently is Friday and Saturday, but on January 14th they will become Sunday and Monday. I will now not be able to fully celebrate His holy days. Unless I can convince my Lieutenant to institute casual Fridays so I can wear my eye patch and frilly shirt!

Hire one of the Pastafarian ninjas wandering these forums. We can teach your Lieutenant the value of pasta.

I am a Pastafarian ninja but alas my Lieutenant is wise to my ways and works in a ninja-proof office.

I think I will resort to wearing my clothing of worship and building an alter to His Noodly Greatness. Maybe through consumption of large quantities of complex carbohydrates and prayer, the FSM will help my Lt. see the errors in his ways and I shall be granted some religious freedom.

You see, it took The Flying Spaghetti Monster Monday through Thursday to create the universe, and then he took three days off, because creating universes is tough work, you know.
