Heh, the Avatar is David Boreanaz (as Angel, of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame). However in spite of the confusion, you came within 2. I'm 27. :)

The closest we have to snakes in Hawaii is a legless skink. And call me crazy, but that sounds like a snake to me.

However, the skinks don't have planes, so I guess that counts them out.

Well, if I remember correctly we have a good deal of the deadlier poisonous snakes here in Missouri. I haven't seen any though, so I can't give any eye witness accounts.

Of course we have an "Exotic Animal Zoo" that has what I like to call a Zebonkey (give me a break, it was a spur of the moment name). It had the front half of a zebra, then it just sort of melded into the brown backend of a donkey.

I think the Minnesota Zoo has a "Zebonkey" too... I've also seen the snakes with legs, which I find pretty creepy. (I bet they grew legs so they could get on the plane easier!)

That makes sense. It's not to easy to get up stairs if you are a snake.

The wildlife on this island seems to be harmless, besides the sharks. But they aren't really on the island.

We got gators dwn here, but they only seem to like poodles walked by old people down by the lake, at dusk.

Some call this 'natural selection'

We've got a few poisonous snakes, but not much call in danger. We've got fire ants, not a killer, but stumble into one of their mounds and it'll light you up with a quickness.
Reports are varied on the Brown recluse spider, many claims, no live bodies. Plenty of Black and Brown widows, almost no bites of merit.

BTW I'm in Pest control down here, so if it's bug related, I know, or can find out rather quick.

Age? Old enough to be adult, young enough to be able to use it for what it's worth. not old enough yet to remain seated during a greeting, but the hairs are salt and peppering. ;)

If anyone's interested, here's the other 'ages' thread. It looks like most people here are in their 20's.
