Can International Day of Slayer be a Religious Holiday?

Postby supported on Wed Jun 03, 2009 1:08 am

Hi!

1. Ya I'm new, been following for a while, big fan.

2. I could not get the forum search to work for me :(

3. I know the International Day of Slayer overlaps with the Hot Holiday, but any chance it could become an official religious holiday? I think it should be. Just thought I'd try to bring some attention to it. I hope the idea gains support, but understand if it doesn't. I'd really like to request that day off of work.

also..

My younger brother was a big Slayer fan.

Checked out the website and I gotta say, I love this quote:

This sounds like one of those holidays that will just take off, since it has something for everyone....from the heavy metal follower to the supports of the PMRC....they all have a reason to celebrate.

I don't even like Slayer at all, but the concepts behind the whole thing make me smile in many ways.
