Why generics?

"Moreover, generic drug manufacturers gain followers from the previous publicity made for the brand name drugs. By the time generic products are on the market, the original product has been going on for at least 10 years. This creates a curiosity in people's mind to try the generic product, which causes a practice that might produce positive results in both the manufacturer's pocket and patients dealing with particular conditions."

Biggest pile of waffle I've seen for a while. Generics = cheaper. 'Nuff said.

Customers may choose either branded maple syrup or a generic. The generic version has the advantage of using the branded versions' market image and loyalty.
